Fall is here and Summer is still trying to be in the spotlight.
Where I live, it stays warm all the way into December sometimes. It gives me conflicted feelings when it's still so warm out but all the stores are selling coats, pumpkin everything, and dare I say--Christmas deco! There are times I wonder about these retailers.
Best wishes to all and I hope everyone has had a great summer. I have some exciting and also some sad news.
The Way of Things is now on preorder and will be available on November 1st with Amazon on kindle and paperback form.
The rumor has been going around and I know you guys have been waiting.
I've talked about turning the Tales of the Nez Perce series into hardback books but decided to pull all of the paperbacks for now. I'm planning a rewrite of Mustang Eyes and Black Wolf. I've grown a lot in the past decade as a writer and I just feel they need a little TLC. I will leave the kindle versions up and just update them when the time comes and of course, let you about it!
Until then,
Holly Crawford has never felt at home. Left under a holly berry bush when she was just a baby, she struggles to find her place in this world, and what little hold she has on it is ripped away when her Pa decides to move them out west on the Oregon Trail.
After a horrible tragedy, Holly's left alone to fend for herself in a world she knows nothing about. When all hope seems lost, she's found by a Lakota tribesman by the name of Stillwater. Tall, dark, and dangerous as he appears, Holly knows that if she wants any chance of surviving, she has to rely on Stillwater and his people, and for the first time in her life, Holly finds that she has a sense of belonging. That is, until a strong sense of duty and a piece of her past threaten to rip her away from her new found home. Now, she must fight for the life she has grown to love, else she be torn from Stillwater's world permanently.
